What is 147 C?

The 147 C is in the letterform, which is sent by a company to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for confirmation of an already created EIN (Employee Identification Number). Any third party can verify any company’s EIN, but with the prior permission of that company.

What are other methods to get an EIN Located/Cross Referenced/Re Checked?
