Wage to Salary is a method to calculate how much an hourly wage earner would be earning if they were paid in monthly salary. It is a wage to salary conversion method.
An example of such terminology would make it easy for understanding purposes:
Suppose an employee is earning per hour wage = $ 20
Multiply $ 20 with a week’s time i.e. 40 hours per week = $ 20 X 40 = $ 800 per week
Multiply per week wage with 52 weeks in an year = $ 800 X 52 = $ 41,600 per year salary
Note: For converting from salary to wage, reverse the process as followed above.
