Voluntary/Volunteer Time Off (VTO)

The two leave categories, VTO has two acronyms, Voluntary time off and Volunteer time off. Voluntary time off is when more employees are available for workload than required, the company offers unpaid time off to the employee. This helps the company to save on staffing costs and also increases efficiency. Volunteer time off is a paid leave provided to the employee in compensation for their time spent in services for approved community or charitable organizations, this way HR support is provided to the organizations working on welfare works.
